About Expert Insight
Expert Insight was founded by Dr Kathryn Newns and Susie O'Connor, who established Applied Psychology Solutions (APS) together with Paul Newns over a decade ago.
Dr Kathryn Newns is a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist and medico-legal expert. Susie O'Connor has extensive experience of supporting psychologists in all areas of their medico-legal work. APS initially focused on providing administrative and IT support to psychologists, particularly those engaged in medico-legal work.
Over time, we expanded our services to include training and supervision, while also promoting the expertise of our affiliated psychologists and creating new opportunities for them. Recognising the need for a platform that would grant psychologists easy access to specialised medico-legal guidance, Kathryn and Susie realised that the development of Expert Insight was a natural progression.
